While the Menics MW86T-RFF-Y-S3 beacon light does not come with a separate switch, there is a thumbnail selector switch inside the housing to choose the flashing mode. The light sequence, sounds, and steady/flashing operation is all determined by how it is wired (see wiring diagram below). If the light is wired for flashing mode the selector switch inside can be set to F1 (80 times per minute) or F3 (240 times per minute). If the light is wired for rotation, a screwdriver operated dial next to the switch adjusts the rotation speed (60-300 RPM). To adjust the volume, there is a screwdriver operated dial on the outside of the housing that can be set between 55-88 dB (without the horn attachment) or 55-90 dB (with horn attachment).
