The BreezEV EVC-L2-P48-18-AP1 electric vehicle charger can accept payment through any credit card, however there is not a direct credit card scanner on the unit. Payments are made via the AmpUp app or the RFID card reader. If a customer does not have the AmpUp app, they can still reach AmpUp through a web browser. From there, they would create an account and enter their payment information (with any credit card).
If the charger is for public use, a customer will scan the QR code with their phone, which will either bring up the AmpUp app or AmpUp on a web browser. If the charger is restricted, so only certain personnel can access it, there are RFID compatible cards that are sold separately. These cards would be registered with AmpUp before being distributed. Then, anyone with a compatible card can simply tap the card using the RFID card reader.
