The difference between the Sealcon CD08MW-BR and CD08MW-RV cable glands is the seal & O-ring material. The CD08MW-BR has a Buna-N rubber seal & O-ring while the same components on the CD08MW-RV are Viton rubber. This also affects their operating temperature range. The CD08MW-BR has a temperature range of -20°C to 100°C (-4°F to 212°F) while the temperature for the CD08MW-RV is -25 C to 200 C (-13 F to 392 F).
