The locking mechanism on the Mencom LP1-E45UM-5 low profile Ethernet switch is operated by a flat head screwdriver. The screwdriver rotates the lock open, so the latch can be slid back and forth to open or close the lid. Once the latch is back in a closed position, a screwdriver is used to turn the lock closed.
