The Sealcon 1.089.1305.19 cable gland insert is made from elastomer, which is an elastic polymer that behaves somewhat like rubber. It would, however, still be considered a solid material. It is made to form a seal around the wires that are inserted into it and works with PG 13 / 13.5, M20 x 1.5, and 1/2" NPT standard body cable glands.
