While this Hirschmann GDM series Form A DIN 43650 solenoid valve connector may be used with the Parker D1VW1CNJPF5-82 (24v) solenoid valve, the MOV varistor may degrade over time from repeated surges. The design of the MOV makes it more ideal for higher surge requirements.
It is recommended instead to use one with a recovery diode, with a Parker direction flow valve at 24V such as the GDM21L6-D24-10D or GDM21F6-D24-10D. They have a slightly faster clamping and handle repeated surges better than a MOV over an extended period.
