The timer on the Jorc 2601 OPTIMUM drain valve has a test button and two timing adjustment knobs. Once the drain valve is installed, use the test button to make sure the valve is functioning properly. Then use the timing adjustment knobs to set the ON and OFF times for the valve. The ON time range can be set between 0.5 to 10 seconds, while the OFF time range can be set between 0.5 to 45 minutes.
