The Macromatic THR-15161-33J time delay relay has a repeat cycle ON type circuit. This means that the relay starts in an energized, or ON, state. First the time delay is set using the blue dial on the housing, which in this case is anywhere between 1 and 100 minutes. Once the input voltage is introduced, the relay is energized and the preset time delay starts. Then the relay de-energizes for the same length of time. The cycle then repeats until the input voltage is removed.
