While the Macromatic THR-13168-35J time delay relay does not have a test button, you'll know it is working properly as long as the timing function is working as it should. If it's not, first make sure all the wiring and connections are correct according to the wiring diagram that's shown on the housing of the unit. If it's under DC voltage, also make sure the polarity is correct. Since this is a Repeat Cycle OFF relay, it will be de-energized first for the duration of the time delay, and will energize after the time delay ends, switching back and forth for the same preset amount of time.
