Yes, technically the lid on the Boxco BC-CTP-506025 enclosure can be removed, but it does require some care to avoid breaking the hinge. It may help to first apply a lubricant such as WD-40. A close up of the hinge is shown below:

To remove the lid you would need to pull out the hinge pin. To do this, you can gently tap the bottom of the hinge pin with a long, thin tool and a hammer to push it out slightly. Then you can use pliers to pull the pin head out from the other side:
