The Seifert 3152303 thermoelectric cooler meets the NEMA 4X (UL type 4X) requirement, so it passes the standard for 65 GPM of water from a 1 inch nozzle, delivered from a distance not less than 10 feet for 5 minutes. It can be used outdoors on ship docks, in dairy facilities, in wastewater treatment plants, and breweries. The X in NEMA 4X also indicates additional corrosion resistance.
It is not recommended that it be used with magnets to mount and transfer heat, as it is not designed to be installed that way.
