The Mencom 242M locking nut has a PG 42 thread size, which would be different from an M42. While M42 x 1 is not a standard size we carry, the closest would be M40 x 1.5. M40 locking nuts are available in gray or black nylon plastic, nickel plated brass,or stainless steel, and are linked below:
