This bridge rectified HTP DIN 43650 connector can take AC input and convert it to DC output, however only to a certain point. A bridge rectified connector lowers the voltage to a certain percentage depending on the input voltage. If the input is 115VAC, the output would be about 96VDC, so it would be unable to convert it down to 12 or 24VDC. It is recommended in this situation that the conversion be done by an AC to DC power supply rather than a DIN connector.
