The Menics PTE-02-R red LED module does not have a pre-determined lighting operation. Whether the light is steady or flashing depends on what PTE series tower light it is connected to. Both the flashing and steady PTE series tower lights use the same light modules. Steady or flashing mode depends on how the tower light is wired, as shown in this wiring diagram below:
