The Light Efficient Design LED-7320-40K-G3 PL light is not compatible with a fluorescent battery backup. It is compatible with line voltage inverter type or the Light Efficent Design LED-EMG series emergency drivers. In both cases, these get wires as Type B. The spec sheet for the LED-EMG drivers is linked below:
