At most, the BreezEV EVC-L2-48A-L1-1-NC-N-1 electric vehicle charger would need a 60 Amp circuit breaker. Circuit breakers must be at 25% above the rated amperage that the charger is set for, with the max setting being 48 Amps. If you have the charger set at 40 Amps, you would need a 50 Amp circuit breaker, if you have it at 32 Amps, you would need a 40 Amp circuit breaker, and so on.
