An adapter would not work with the Menics MS135B-01-B beacon light, as it is 12V DC. To connect to a wall outlet, which is typically 110-120V AC, you would need a power transformer (120V AC to 12V DC). It would be easier to use the MS135B-10-B, as it is already 110-120V AC, so it wouldn't need a power transformer.
As shown in the diagram below, you would then need to wire a switch (external contact), switch box, and power cord to plug directly into a wall outlet.
