We are going to use the Macromatic VWKE120A under voltage relay on EMERGENCY back up, our question would be if we lost power can the relay maintain a circuit for at least 5 seconds

The Macromatic VWKE120A voltage band relay would not be able to maintain the circuit if the power went out. However, you could use the TR-60622 True Off Time Delay relay. You could parallel the output of the VWKP120A plug-in style voltage band relay with the TR-60622. The True Off Delay uses a capacitor onboard to hold in the relay for the time delay.
