No, drivers are not required to use the AmpUp app to use BreezEV electric vehicle chargers. Using the app is the fastest and simplest way, and it is available for both Android and Apple devices. However if a driver doesn't have the app, once the QR code on the front has been scanned with their mobile device, payments and processing can be done through a web browser. BreezEV chargers are also available without AmpUp software in case you wish to install your own, or do not require a software capable version.
