To prep surface for EternaBond RSW-8-50 RoofSeal Tape, first make sure the surface is clean and free of dirt or debris. Acetone or lacquer thinner should be used to get rid of oil or grease. EternaPrime spray can be used on dirty or porous surfaces, as it can form a solid surface for the tape to stick to. It should also be used before applying tape in very low temperatures (below 40 F).
