EternaBond tape is not designed to be easily removed, as it creates a permanent, watertight seal. It is possible to remove it if necessary. First, heat the tape at one end using a hair dryer. Once the tape is warm, start to pull at the end. You can use a utility knife to cut the sealant away as you pull off the tape. Some sealant residue will still remain on the surface. You can either use a strong solvent like lacquer thinner and use it to remove the rest, or leave it there if you intend to put more EternaBond on top of it.
