Current sensing relays check for under or over current situations. When the current rises above or falls below the current range, the relay energizes and an LED turns on to indicate a fault. Macromatic encapsulated current sensing relays feature a current transformer so the wire may be looped through multiple times, which allows for more sensitivity.
