In this instance, the size of the cable is what determines whether the cable gland will fit, rather than the wire gauge size. The Sealcon CD16NS-03 Romex cable gland has a 5.5 x 11.5 mm (0.22" x 0.45") slot size, so as long as the cable fits just below those parameters, it will fit. For a snug fit, there should not be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the size of the cable and the size of the insert slot. It is designed for flat cable, rather than circular cable. If you are looking for a cord grip to fit circular cable, you would need to know to outer diameter of the cable.
