The Kacon HRF-HD202P foot switch can be used along with an e-stop switch, depending on the configuration. The foot switch can be used for normal on/off control while the e-stop switch cuts power off to or from the foot switch during an emergency. However, the foot switch and e-stop switch should be used separately in serial on the power line. Also, because the HRF-HD202P is momentary, it cannot be used as an e-stop switch.
