The Jorc EAD timer drains do not operate manually. Jorc drains are designed to operate automatically using timers or sensors. If you need a condensate drain valve to be open for 30 seconds once a day, you could use the 5523 COMBO-D-LUX. It has a digital timer that you can program to open for 30 seconds after being closed. Closure time can be for however many hours you choose.
