The luminous intensity, or brilliance of the Menics H08F-20G LED indicator is 200-300 mcd, which is measured in millicandela. That would convert to 0.2-0.3 candela. While it is possible to see the high brightness LED indicators in sunlight, they are mainly intended for use indoors, as they provide better performance inside.
