The Cembre SDC3X60-PD mains tester screwdriver is used to test whether certain types of electrical equipment are working and have voltage. The tip of the screwdriver touches the electrical device and the handle lights up when voltage is found. Make sure you only touch the handle when testing. If the handle does not light up, there is no voltage or it has a neutral charge.
