There is not an on/off switch on the Menics MT4B1BL-G tower light. To have the light on or off, it needs to be wired to an external switch. This tower light has two wires. The black wire is for the power supply and the other wire would be used to control the green light. Below is the wiring diagram (please note the wiring diagram depicts a 5 tier light):
