for the LED-8033E50-G7, what constitutes "Used in enclosed fixtures"? Enclosed cage and globe or just cage?

I want to protect the lamp, to what degree may I enclose without impaired function? Globe and cage combination or just the open air cage configuration.

In terms of the Light Efficient Design LED-8033E50-G7 post top LED light, what constitutes as an enclosed fixture will depend on whether it will be used indoors or out. The main factor is keeping it protected from exposure to water. For indoor use, that can include an open air cage. If it is being used outside, it must be in a fully enclosed fixture to keep it protected from water
