The pinout for the Mencom MDC-8FR-4 M12 receptacle is as follows:
Pin #1 - White
Pin #2 - Brown
Pin #3 - Green
Pin #4 - Yellow
Pin #5 - Gray
Pin #6 - Pink
Pin #7 - Blue
Pin #8 - Red
All of the wires are the same size (24 AWG), so any of them will work for either power or signal, allowing you to wire this receptacle however you prefer
