The IP 67 rating for the Cnlinko YU-USB3-JSX-01-003 USB 3.0 socket applies when the cap is screwed on the socket and when it is attached to a mating connector. When the cap is off and the USB socket is not mated, that is the only time when the IP 67 rating would not apply.
