The difference between an NBR flat gasket and an NBR profile gasket for a Form A DIN 43650 solenoid valve connector is in how much they cover. The NBR profile gasket goes around the edge of the connector, leaving the center mostly open. Here's an example of an NBR profile gasket for a Form A:
