Besides the thermoelectric cooler itself, it also comes with the 4 nylon washers and 4 stainless steel M6 lock nuts used to mount the unit. It is recessed, meaning it sits in a cut-out made in the panel wall.
Before installing this thermoelectric cooler in a control cabinet, make sure the airflow going in and out of the cabinet will not be blocked. The cabinet will need to be drilled into when mounting the cooler, so make sure the fixing elements won't interfere with the equipment inside. It can be mounted in nearly any position because there is no refrigerant, however do not mount it on top of a cabinet. Make sure the electrical connection is above the internal fan. For a non-ducted unit, xxxx the M6 locknuts & washers into the M6 set screws in the unit. For a ducted unit, xxxx the M6 screws & washers into the M6 threaded rivets in the unit.
The ground connection resistance between the cabinet and the thermoelectric cooler needs to be at least 0.1 Ohm. The tightening torque needs to be 4.5 Nm and has to follow the sequence illustrated in the diagram below to reach the TYPE 4 rating:
We also have an instruction manual on our site that goes into further detail on the installation and use of this cabinet cooler. There is also an optional condensate tray that catches any moisture from the cooler
