Yes the red and the green LED modules can be operated separately. It all depends on how the light is wired in. Below is the wiring diagram for the 24V PTE series lights. Each LED module would be wired to a separate external contact switch. Whether the red or the green is lit would depend on whether that contact switch was connected.
