If movement is detected and the UVC germicidal light shuts off in the middle of a timed cleaning cycle, the light does not come on again unless it is re-programmed to turn on again via the remote. Even though the cycle did not finish, cleaning still occurred within the space. The level of cleaning would simply not be as high as if a full cycle had taken place.
