Generally speaking, installing EternaBond is a straightforward process. First make sure the surface you are applying it to is clean and clear of dirt and debris. Cut the tape to the length you need and peel off the adhesive lining. If it's a longer length, it's more advantageous to peel off a portion of the lining at a time as you apply it. Apply pressure to the tape while laying it down, either with your hand or a roller. This activates the sealant and prevents air bubbles.
Keep in mind that there should be at least 1" of tape on each side of a seam. Seams with a gap should have EternaBond DoubleStick inserted into the gap first, then lay the sealant tape over it, this time with at least 2" of tape on each side. When applying the tape over a corner, go right into the crevices or around the points, without stretching the tape over the corner. If you are using the tape around a window, there should be at least 3" of tape on each side.
