The PREF-402-RYGB will work with any of the MAP series aluminum poles and those poles are compatible with any of the MAM series bases. During installation, the pole should be inserted between the tower light and the base. When inserting the pole into the tower light, the locking-screw (A) at the bottom of the tower light needs to be loosened and pushed down, so the notch (B) is lowered (see the image below). The pole should then be able to be inserted. Once the pole is inserted at the bottom of the tower light, tighten the locking-screw. Then attach the other end of the pole to the base.
