M12, M8, and MIN molded cordsets are all available with PVC or PUR cable. M23 molded cables have PUR cable. PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride and is a type of plastic. PVC provides a lower cost solution and a wider operating temperature range than PUR. PUR is another type of plastic and stands for polyurethane. It is more highly resistant to tears, abrasions, and certain chemicals than PVC. Both are flexible, even in low temperatures. PVC has a temperature range of -40 F to 221 F. PUR has a temperature range of -40 F to 176 F.
