The Coxreels 112-3-150-CM is not designed for use with a garden hose. The Coxreels 117-4-225-CM would be the best option to use with a garden hose. Keep in mind this reel has a 1/2" ID hose capacity while most garden hoses have a 5/8" ID, so an adapter may be required. Hose adapters can be purchased from a local hardware store.
